Destinations Covered:
Day-01-Arrival in Delhi
On arriving in Delhi, you will be greeted by a representative from Heritage in India, who will accompany you to the hotel, where prior reservations would have been made to accommodate you. Overnight stay would be at the hotel.
Day-02-Delhi
This is the day when the tour package really begins. In the morning, there will be an extensive tour of Delhi. The tour group will tour the major tourist attractions of the city, such as India Gate, Parliament House and Red Fort. You will also get to visit the Laxmi Narayan temple, also known as the Birla temple, Jama Masjid, which is the biggest mosque in Asia and the Gandhi Memorial. After this city tour, you will be escorted back to the hotel, for the night.
Day-03-Delhi-Mandawa
On this day, the tour group will drive to Mandawa, which is a beautiful little town in Shekhawati region. After arriving, the group will head to the hotel. In the afternoon, there will be a tour to the havelis and mansions that Mandawa is so famous for. You will also get to see the Medieval Fort, which is a major tourist attraction. You may also check out the local bazaar and the village. Overnight stay would be at the hotel.
Day-04-Mandawa-Bikaner On the morning of the 4th day, the group will drive toNawalgarh, another tourist place in Shekhawati region. Here you can check out numerous havelis and mansions that are simply breathtaking and still stand as a symbol of the prosperity of the Marwari era of the 19th century. Some of these havelis, that you will see are, Anandilal Poddar haveli, Chokhani haveli and Bansidhar Bhagat haveli. After this, the tour group will head to Bikaner. There after arriving, the group will check into the hotel. The evening is free, so you can either relax or explore the beautiful places around town. Overnight stay would be at the same hotel.
Day-05-Bikaner
The Forts and Palaces tour package includes tours to all the major Forts and Palaces, so on day 5 the tour group will visit the Junagadh Fort, which was built in the 16th century by Raja Rai Singh. There will also be a visit to the camel breeding farm and Bhandashah temple, which is a Jain temple, built in 1514 AD. Overnight stay would be at the hotel.
Day-06-Bikaner-Jaisalmer
On this morning the tour group will head to Jaisalmer. Upon the arrival, the group will check into the hotel, booked beforehand. In the afternoon, you will be free so, you can either rest or go on a tour of the city by your own self. Overnight stay would be at the hotel.
Day-07-Jaisalmer
On this day, you will get to visit the second oldest fort in Rajasthan, the Jaisalmer fort, which was built in 1156. After which, you can check out two famous havelis, the Patwon-Ki-Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli. There would also be a visit to Lodurva, a grand Jain temple. After this extensive tour, you will be accompanied back to hotel, where you would spend the night.
Day-08-Jaisalmer
This day, you will get to see the real desert land. You will visit the picturesque Sam sand dunes and see the beautiful ripples on sand created by wind. You may also take a camel ride and have a real adventure. For night you will be accompanied back to the hotel.
Day-09-Jaisalmer-Jodhpur
On the ninth day, your tour package will take you to Jodhpur. Where upon arrival you will be checked into a hotel. Overnight stay would be at this hotel.
Day-10-Jodhpur
The tenth day will be spent touring Jodhpur. You will get to tour the Mehrangarh Fort, which is one of the largest forts in India, you will also see Jaswanthada, a 19th century royal cenotaph made of white marble. Of course, there would also a visit to the Clock Tower. Overnight stay would be at the hotel.
Day-11-Jodhpur-Bundi
In the morning, the group will drive to Bundi. After arrival, you will be checked into a comfortable hotel. Afternoon you will be free to relax or explore the city by yourself. Overnight stay would be at the same hotel.
Day-12-Bundi-Udaipur
On the morning of 12th day, the tour group will head to Udaipur, while visiting Ranakpur temples on the way. After arrival in Udaipur, the group will check into a hotel.
Day-13-Udaipur
The 13th day, will be spent touring the various tourist attractions of Udaipur. You would get to visit the Saheliyon-ki-Bari, which was the garden for the maids of honor of the Queen. There would also be a visit to the Jagdish temple, which is a temple with Indo-Aryan style of architecture and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The tour would also take you to Lake Pichola, City Palace, Eklingji & Nagda Temples. The overnight stay would be at the same hotel.
Day-14-Udaipur-Pushkar
On this day, the tour group will drive to Pushkar, a very sacred place for Hindus. After arriving, you will be checked into a wonderful hotel. The day would be free so you would have the choice of staying in at the hotel or exploring the places around town. Overnight stay would be at the hotel.
Day-15-Pushkar-Jaipur
This day you will get to see the Jagat Pita Shri Brahma temple, which is probably the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma. After that a visit to the Apteshwar Mahadev temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Then the tour group will head towards Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. On the way to Jaipur, you will get to visit the Dargah of Sufi Saint Moinuddin Chishti. After arriving in the capital city, the group will check into a hotel. Overnight stay would be at the hotel.
Day-16-Jaipur
In the morning of this day, you will get to take an excursion to Amer fort, on the back of an elephant! In the afternoon, the group will tour the famous City Complex, which has many palaces, courtyards and gardens. Other places you will tour are the Royal Observatory, Nawab Sahab ki haveli and the Bazaar, besides many other places. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day-17-Jaipur-Agra-Delhi
On the last day, the Tour group will head to Agra, while visiting Fatehpur Sikri on the way. You would get to see the Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Palace of Jodha Bai, and other structures. On arrival in Agra, the group will check into a hotel. The later half of the day, can be spent exploring the wonderful tourist attractions of Agra, including the marble wonder, Taj Mahal. After that, the group will head back to Delhi, from where you may board a flight to your home or next destination.
